Welcome to Cunliffe Medical Centre

Cunliffe Medical Centre is a  family-oriented practice based in the centre of Chorley on Cunliffe Street run by GP partners Dr Sara Shackleton and Dr Lindsey Dickinson.. Our website will give you details of practice services, surgeries and clinics. Please feel free to browse the pages for the information you require. If you are looking to register with us as a new patient, please telephone us, e-mail us or call in person at reception in practice hours.
Congratulations to our Assistant Practice Manager Mrs Andrea Kershaw (pictured on the right with our receptionist Mrs Elizabeth Monk), who has just successfully completed a two year course in Medicines Management with the local health authority. Andrea, who has been at Cunliffe Medical centre for 19 years, is now our practice Medicines Co-Ordinator, and will advise the clinicians here at CMC on prescribing quality, waste management, prescription processing and analysis, and repeat prescribing and dispensing. Andrea's hard work in getting this qualification means an improvement in the service that we offer our patients.

HOME VISITS
are for patients too ill to attend the surgery. They are at the discretion of the doctor. Please telephone reception as soon as possible after 8.30am if you think you need a home visit.

REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS
can be requested Monday to Friday by leaving a request slip at the reception post box. We require a MINIMUM of 48 hours notice for repeat prescriptions. Prescriptions may also be requested by fax on 01257 234 665 or
