Out of Hours
The Chorley and South Ribble Primary Care Trust (the PCT) is responsible for arranging medical services out of hours. (between 6.30pm and 8.30 am Monday to Friday, and weekends and bank holidays.)
You may telephone the surgery at any time out of hours, and you will be either connected directly to the out of hours service or hear an answerphone message giving you an alternative number to ring.
Most of the Doctors providing out of hours care will still be local general practitioners.
Please contact your own Doctor during regular hours where possible as the out of hours service is only able to cope with emergencies.
Patients with Profound Deafness may contact the out of hours service by Fax. For details of this service please contact Reception.
